Huai Shan Chicken Soup |
Ingredients |
1 Packet Swanson Clear Chicken Broth (1 Litre)
500ml Water
300g Skinless Chicken Thigh, cut into pieces
300g Fresh Huai Shan
8 Big Red Dates
1 Medium Carrot, cut into thick slices |

Methods |
1. Wash, trim and blanch the chicken in boiling water for about 3 minutes, rinse and set aside.
2. Rinse fresh huai shan to remove any dirt, remove outer skin and cut into thick chunks.
3. Combine Swanson Clear Chicken Broth and water in a pot and bring it to boil before adding all ingredients except huai shan.
4. Lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
5. Add in huai shan and boil on medium heat for another 5 minutes.
6. Turn off the heat and serve hot. |
